How to create a free Fs2you account?
Simply upload a file use your email address, we will create your free account and activate your free online storage for you.Which UPLOAD RULES have to be followed?
No files that are not allowed to be shared. (no illegal, pornographic or copyrighted files)What are your file size and storage limits?
There is no such kind of limits, please feel free to upload any of your files.Why should I enter a real email address?
Your have to receive your account password and your download link via the email address you provided.How to keep my account healthy?
As Fs2you goes more and more popular, we have not had enough resources to support this "popular" now.
So, before we get more resources(maybe more money for the resources), we have to introduce some restrictions.
For example, we found that some users uploaded tens of gigabytes of files here, but most of them are never downloaded by anyone!
Limited resource should serve maximum of users, for public interest, we have to do something for this.
So we introduced an "Account Health Meter", when this meter grow to an risky level, you have to do something to lower it,
OR, our system will lower it automatically for you.
The calculation of the the meter is simple,
Account Health Meter = Storage spaces all you files taken(in megabytes) / Unique IP addresses download your files in every single day
(Note: IP addresses downloading different files are counted separately. For example, if you have ten 100MB files, and you have 192.168.0.1&192.168.0.2 downloaded all your files a day, that means 2 IPs for each file, and 20 IPs for your account, your Account Health Meter will be 1000MB/20IP = 50.)
(Note: The value of your Account Health Meter is not updating at realtime, we update this value every 1-2 days.)
Now, we set the threshold to 100, if your Account Health Meter lower than 100, you files are safe.
Or, if your Account Health Meter greater than 100 and last for more than 5 days, your unhealthy files will be deleted.
You can lower your Account Health Meter by:
1. Share you files to others, post your files to forums or BBSs to drive more Unique IP addresses;
2. Or, delete your unhealthy files manually, to lower your Account Health Meter directly.
How can I make sure I'm not missing emails sent from fs2you?
If you have missed any of our Password Email, Download Link Email, Account Status Email, and so on.First, check you spam mail folder, you mail system (like Hotmail) may wrongly see our emails as spams.
And then, add support@fs2you.com to your email contacts list, to make your mail system trust emails from us.
(Also, you may contact your email provider directly or write them a feedback, tell them not to discard emails support@fs2you.com send to you.)
If you missed the important Password Email, you may have to go to the Password Reset page, reset your password, and get the new Password Email for you.
If you do not want any type of emails from us, go to your settings page, uncheck the boxes you do not really need.
Why my RaySource cannot run?
1st, please make sure your RaySource executable program is installed successfully.2nd, or please check your firewall software, make sure you didn't block peer.exe, PeerAdapter.exe and RaySource.exe. If they are blocked, please add these three executable programs to authentic programs.
3rd, or you can re-install RaySource completely.
